1. Needle plate:

Needle Plate is a Plate that is placed on the sewing machine upon the foot pressure. It Helps Fabric in moving at the time of sewing. At the time of stitching, the needle plate is an essential part of a sewing machine because without needle plate fabric won't move up.

Types of Needle Plate:

1. Standard Plate2. Straight Stitch Plate

 

2. Needle:

The needle is the backbone of a sewing machine and without this, we won't be able to do the stitching. Needle helps in sew a fabric. With a needle, we can also sew with our hand by using a hand needle. 

3. Feed Dog:

Feed dog is used in pushing the fabric so that the sewing process will continue. It just moves fabric again and again so, that the machine will sew fabric continues.

 

4. Bobbin:

A bobbin is a small metal packet that is filled with thread. On this bobbin rolled thread is placed so, that when we sew a fabric the sewing machine will automatically take the thread and start stitching until the bobbin not get empty. 

5. Bobbin Cover:

At the time of sewing, the thread gets messy and it gets removed from the bobbin. To prevent this kind of result a bobbin cover is used. This makes bobbin fit perfectly and by this bobbin case, we can easily do the process of sewing.

 

6.Bobbin Cover Release Button:

This button is used in releasing of bobbin cover. With the help of this button, bobbin gets released very easily.

7. Pressure Foot:

Pressure foot used to hold the thread straight. So, the process of sewing will go continuously without stopping.

8. Spool Pin:

This button is made up of metal and it is used in the holding of bobbin thread.

9. Bobbin Binder Spindle: 

At the time of winding, we put a bobbin in the bobbin binder spindle. 

10. Bobbin Winder Stopper:

 When bobbin gets vacant then this bobbin binder stopper will stop the bobbin.

 11. Stitch Width Dial:

The main function of stitch width dial is to fix the zigzag thread so that the process of stitching will go continuously.

12. Pattern Selector Dial:

This is used to is to set the symbol for the desired stitch pattern.

13. Hand Wheel:

The handwheel is placed on your right side. With the help of this, you can stitch with your capacity of speed if you need more thread to stitch you can just roll it upper on the sewing machine.

14. Stitch Length Dial:

It is used in balancing the length of thread.

15. Reverse Stitch Lever:

It is used in the reverse stitching process the machine sews in reverse when we push the lever.

16. Power Switch:

The power switch is used to power on and power off the sewing machine.

17. Bobbin Winder Thread Guide:

These types of thread guides are used during bobbin winding.

18. Thread Tension Dial:

Thread tension dial is used to control the tension on the top thread.

 19. Thread-Takeup Lever:

At the time of sewing, the top thread passes through the thread takeup lever. It moves the thread and down with the needle.

20. Needle Clamp Screw:

Needle clamp screw holds the needle in its actual place.

21. Face Plate:

It is a cover that covers all the internal workings of a sewing machine.

22. Throat Plate:

It has a hole for the needle from which the needle can go through. It also had a removal part that covers bobbin.
